Kia Connect

The Kia EV9 multi-charging system operates with both 400V and 800V chargers, without the need for an additional adapter. So you can charge at more places, and continue your journey with peace of mind.
Battery & range
With 76.1 kWh (Air) & 99.8 kWh (Earth & GT-Line) Li-ion battery, the Kia EV9 provides up to 443km, 512km & 505km WLTP range on a full charge on the Air, Earth & GT-Line grades respectively.
Type 2 charging
Powered charging flap with a Type 2 charger displays current charge level information at a glance. Also available are safety functions including obstacle detection & automatic door closing when flap is open, yet charging is not occuring for more than 120 seconds.
V2L Exterior
Utilising outdoor V2L connector, the EV9 can be used to power electronics, home appliances and even charge other compatible EVs through Vehicle-to-Vehicle charging (V2V).
Regenerative Braking
Smart Regenerative Braking automatically adjusts the regenerative braking based on forward traffic flow, harnessing braking energy to improve driving range & efficiency. Available Intelligent Pedal mode (i-Pedal) allows you to accelerate, decelerate & come to a full stop using only the accelerator pedal.

Ride & handling
Self-levelling rear dampers, front McPherson strut/ rear multi-link suspension and a choice of RWD (Air) or AWD (Earth & GT-Line) come together to provide confident and responsive handling with excellent grip and a pleasant ride.
Noise, vibration & harshness
NVH is kept to a minimum through multiple sound absorbing measures including sound absorbing foam in tyres & sound insulating laminated glass on doors.
Terrain mode
Personalise your drive with Normal, Sport or Eco drive mode using the convenient Drive Mode button on the steering wheel.
Available Terrain mode (Snow/Mud/Sand) optimises driving and braking power to the chosen conditions.
Blind Spot View Monitor*
Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM) displays the rear-side image of the corresponding direction when the turn signal switch is operated directly to the instrument cluster.

The use of this Remote Smart Park Assist (RSPA) feature will not comply with this rule and thus it should not be used while within WA.
[AEB-JC] Warns if the risk of collision with an oncoming vehicle from either the left/right side while going straight at an intersection is detected. Automatically assists with braking if the risk of collision increases after warning.
[AEB-LCS] Warns if the risk of collision with a preceding vehicle in the next lane while changing lanes is detected. Automatically assists steering if the risk of collision increases after warning.
